The Saudi Arab government has passed a legal order recently that Saudi women will be allowed to stay in hotels without any male member of their family. Before that women in Saudi Arab were not allowed to reserve a room in a hotel independently. The new law permits women to do this. For reservation they would have to show their identification card with photo to management of hotel.
However, officials of hotel should provide complete information to police about them. There are many other limitations of women’s right according to Islamic rules and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
